Polaroid Portfolios

Before digital imaging, Polaroids served as the sole feedback for photographers.

Calibrated to match our film, they confirmed lighting and exposure. Over time, they were handled and marked, leading to their current sad condition after 30 to 40 years. Photographers often displayed them on studio walls as a fun pseudo-portfolio. Today they hold aesthetic significance, akin to sketches by famous artists, representing raw creativity in its initial attempt to capture and express moments.
